Does growing an orange tree require a degree in botany, along with a tract of land on the Florida coast? Most definitely not!
Welcome to
Dwarf Citrus Farms. By now, you've discovered that we specialize in rare and unusual plants. Actually, our specialty is rare and unusual plants
that can be grown virtually anywhere. And the plants we offer are easily grown by just about anyone. We also offer a few extras to make your gardening effort more rewarding.
Our story is simple. We are plant enthusiasts. We enjoy common trees, shrubs and flowers since they generally define an area of the country. We are also fond of growing the unusual plants that we see in books, magazines, movies and on television but never find at the local nursery. So we grew our own. You can too.
Our Dwarf Citrus farm is nestled in the Piney Woods of Northeast Texas. Honestly, we have a nice growing environment for most plants. But even the long-time locals had never heard of growing lemons or limes, until they saw our crop. We're pretty sure folks north of us have the same sentiments. That's why most of our offerings are quite cold tolerant and can grow, bloom and fruit, with ease, in a shorter growing season. Within these pages, you'll find in-depth descriptions of everything we sell. In our
Gardening 101 section, we offer advice on the easiest, most practical ways to get the most from your plant - including information on everything from pruning and fertilizing to landscape placement and recipes. If your questions or comments are more specific, we invite you to drop us an
e-mail or call us at 903-660-2636.
Meanwhile, if you don't find what you're looking for, call or drop us a line and stay tuned. We are always adding to our stock and selection.
